Apple, would you *please* fix the “snap edits to zero crossings” feature? I rather like Logic overall, but this simple, simple, simple, extremely useful feature has been broken since I bought the app almost a year and a half ago, and not having it makes simple edits on a voice track unpleasant. As this bug has been neglected for so long, please fix it ASAP (in the next 10.2.x release would be lovely). Thank you.

Update has made my computer crash multiple times. This is ridiculous. I didn’t shell out money for something that does not work that I used on a daily basis for work !

I adore logic, however, it messes up my creative process with the system overload ! Please fix those bugs.

Logic was solid up until this most recent update. If I try to record more than a few tracks live, it crashes and causes my whole computer to restart. It was working perfectly, until I updated to an update that was supposed to “fix” any bugs, but instead it caused more bugs. I’ve already lost several chunks of live recordings because of this problem. I really hope Apple fixes this ASAP because I use Logic regularly.

A great product.. still needs some work to get better reliability on the heavy users.

I’ve been using Logic since Pro 9. Logic Pro X is simply amazing, i’m making great music with it. Slowly but surely, the bridge between dedicated hardware and software is being closed. the cello in this version of Logic is phenomenal, for example. everything is user-friendly and streamlined. i need to learn all of the keyboard shortcuts. the compressors are powerful, i love the EQs and Limiters, reverbs, etc. for $200 this is a grand slam. i predict that in five years or less everything will be done on laptops, period.

This version of Logic breaks pitch bend and makes songs with pitch bends sound horrible. Highly recommend you wait to update until there is a fix!

so terrible right now , felt like i made a bad investment. system overloads to much. very disapppointing

I have a lot invested in this app, but I can barely get any work done because of the crashes. Please fix!

Bought the app but its stuck in the downloading stage(gray app in launchpad) I restarted my computer to try again then it did it again 5 times tried to download it on another computer and it still does it I think its not compatible with the computers because the internet speed is xfinity blast so it shouldnt have a problem downloading but it is. it was a dud for me I think the computer may not be compatible but it says it is.

Update on my 1 star rating In the last few updates the system overload is become a big problem with my work flow. Don’t get me wrong they were great updates except for the system overload problem. I started using LPX from day one with little problems. Anyway I just started using Studio One Artist to give it a try and compare it to LPX with the same tracks and plugins applied , no system overload in Studio One Artist, switch to LPX and System Overload. You have to fix this system overload problem. I’ve tried every little adjustment and steps recommended by Apple Support. I’m using a 2012 Mac Mini 8 Gig , ElCapitain latest Ver, everything is all updated. I really hate to give LPX up and go to Studio One because of the System Overload. This is an update on the lastest version 10.2.2, so far so good, I’ve tried several mixes with the new update and no crashes or system overload.

I will be happy the day you guys at Apple release an update with Ultrabeat redesigned and more user-friendly like the rest of Logic’s environment.

Update to bugsb below. The bugs mentioned below seem to fixed for me :-) ***However, there is a new issue with the fade tool not popping up anymore when hovering over the side of the region. (Using fade tool as work around, so no big deal but it slows me down a bit. Other than that it seems like a lot of the issues have been fixed. :-) Fixed for me: Love Logic but I’m having an issue with moving regions. Moving regions makes the region jump to the track above and it overrides what I have written in the track above. I keep having to create a new empty audio track as a way around it but it keeps doing it. This only started occuring after the new update. Please fix :-)

Since the last update izatope plugins "delay compensate” buttons dont work. Static is in the mix. Please fix.

I’ve been using Logic software for about 5 years now and overall I absolutely love the software. However, in the latest update I noticed that the beat detection feature has become much less intuitive. I actually cannot seem to get this feature to work. It would be nice to have that feature again… *nudge nudge*

I love Logic X, but please please please fix the quantization. If I quantize a MIDI region to the nearest 16th or 8th note, it quantizes the notes weirdly, which means I have to waste time doing what Logic used to be able to do. This is getting ridiculous. Your updates just keep creating more bugs likes this. Also I do not like how when I record MIDI it automatically joins the new region with the one before it. It’s SUPER annoying. PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES!!!!!!

I upgraded to a retina 15 inch macbook pro, 2.5ghz, i7, 16gb ram. Its a pretty decent setup. So my concern is why is this app laggy when i load in effect/plugins/etc? I once owned a 13 inch macbook pro, and no issues whatsoever. Im kinda worried for Apple Logic ProX, and id never thought I’d say this, But im also DISAPPOINTED. I also notice that when during playback im skimming thru the arrange section and the time in the custom bar glitches. For some this is a miniscule issue, but for me, its kinda bothersome. I too have been playing with other DAW such as Ableton, Cubase, Fl studio, and studio One 3 Pro. And I may say that Studio One 3 Pro has gotten my attention thus far. Ive noticed that studio one 3 is a DAW that has a bit of every DAWs features and capabilities. IM JUST SAYIN

If you were to ask me, Logic Pro is by far the best thing to make beats. Logic ofcourse competes with Reason, FL Studio, Ableton, but to me Logic is unmatchable. Big name producers like Timbaland, the last update makes it really smooth with hi-hats which is basically a single note piano roll. All your external VSTs work smoothly on here, they open smoothly. The one thing I really love about Logic is the way it’s so complex while maintaining a great ease of use. Sure, I wouldn’t put Logic to edit vocals. You can do it, of course, it’s just not made for that. Logic is a music production DAW, and works great. The EXS24 sampler made me impressed. Great sampler. If you own an external MPC or Maschine, those still work smoothly with Logic. To me, Logic is the host, or the hub of everything that goes on. From VSTs to MPCs, you can get everything and make it all come together in Logic. So many good things to say.

Had no issues in the past at the same buffer rate with any projects I worked on. Now it seems that every one throws the error at least once during playback. Have gotten so used to LPX, it’s comfortable to use, but this issue is becoming concerning.
