Constant freezes

I’ve been using this program for years, and it’s sad to see it fall so low. The latest version(s) freeze all the time with the famous “system overload” bug, even though my computer is powerful and has 8 cores, and I’m not playing very many tracks. It ain’t my computer, it’s the program :(

Avoid this upgrade, and certainly don’t buy it as your first choice… I have to use Logic 9 to get any work done, and I’m seriously eyeing Digital Performer, since they actually listen to their users. What a pain to have to switch programs, but Logic is too unstable now. (I am extremely experienced at troubleshooting computers, so it is indeed the program at fault.)
